Orlando, Florida – Don Julio Restaurant Group, a staple in Central Florida’s culinary scene, celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new corporate office, “Don Julio Corporate Office,” in Orlando. Led by Founder and President Florencio Rodríguez, the company aims to elevate its operations and service excellence across its seven locations in the region.
The newly inaugurated office will serve as the nerve center for staff recruitment, content development, and training initiatives aimed at enhancing both menu offerings and service quality. This move underscores the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the competitive restaurant industry.
A standout feature of the new corporate space is the “Doña Pepa Secret Spot,” a dedicated area where skilled chefs showcase their creativity by crafting unique family recipes for food and drinks. Strategically situated adjacent to the Don Julio Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Chickasaw, the office boasts modern amenities, including a meeting room and administrative offices, from where the company’s ambitious expansion plans will be executed.
“This expansion is a testament to our dedication to providing our customers with exceptional culinary experiences,” remarked entrepreneur Florencio Rodríguez. “We are excited to embark on this next chapter of growth and innovation.”
The company’s expansion efforts are already underway, with plans to open three additional locations by the end of the year, including outlets in Sanford, Inverness, and Lake Mary.
Currently, Don Julio Restaurant Group operates seven establishments across Central Florida, encompassing a diverse range of dining concepts, from the Don Julio Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar to the Hot Taco Street Taqueria, Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar, and Pisco Express.
The grand opening ceremony drew a distinguished crowd of elected officials, local dignitaries, and esteemed guests. Florencio Rodríguez and Patricia Quintero, key figures behind the company’s success, were honored with various awards and proclamations in recognition of their contributions to job creation and economic development in the region.
Notable attendees included Maribel Gómez Cordero, Commissioner of Orange County; Víctor Torres Jr., Florida Senator; Johanna López, Florida State Representative; and Pedro Turushina, President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orlando (HCCMO), among others.
Don Julio Restaurant Group’s dedication to culinary excellence has earned it accolades, including a second-place ranking in the “Best Mexican Restaurant” category by Orlando Weekly in 2023. The company remains a contender in the same category in 2024.
With a workforce of approximately 400 employees, Don Julio Restaurant Group continues to make strides in the local business community, contributing to the economic vitality of the region.
